# Keyboard Shortcuts and CAD Commands

## CAD Command Line

The command line panel at the bottom of the application window accepts typed commands. Commands are case-insensitive.

### Navigation Commands

ZOOM (Z)
: Enters zoom mode. Follow with a sub-command:

  - **E** -- Zoom extents (fit all objects in the viewport)
  - **W** -- Zoom window (draw a rectangle to zoom into)
  - **+** -- Zoom in
  - **-** -- Zoom out

PAN (P)
: Enters pan mode. Click and drag to move the viewport.

### Editing Commands

SELECT
: Enters selection mode. Click entities to select them.

UNDO (U)
: Undo the last action.

REDO
: Redo the last undone action.

## Mouse Interaction

Left click
: Select an entity. In selection mode, clicking an entity selects it and deselects all others.

Shift + left click
: Add the clicked entity to the current selection, or remove it if already selected.

Right click
: Open the context menu for the current selection or canvas area.

Scroll wheel
: Zoom in (scroll up) or zoom out (scroll down), centered on the cursor position.

Middle button drag
: Pan the viewport by clicking and dragging with the middle mouse button.

## Ribbon Keyboard Access

Press the **Alt** key to activate ribbon keytips. Letter overlays appear on each ribbon tab and button. Type the displayed letters to activate the corresponding tab or command.

## Standard Keyboard Shortcuts
